Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.
SASSA will be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed in regards to the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area status sassa daily. The provider level produced for intervention ordeals a significant influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tough with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to enable the servicing of all shoppers and boost usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
